Position Summary:
The Sheetmetal Fabrication position fabricates cut aluminum stock to prepare for assembly, glazing, and installation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using specialized tools and equipment.
- Assemble and install sheet metal hardware and components as needed
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently.
- Performs tool and machine maintenance as required.
- Documents daily activities, keeps accurate records of completed work.
- Operate forklift to move materials.
Work Experience and Requirements:
- Reliable Transportation
- Authorized to Work in the U.S.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or in a similar role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds), work in various positions, and handle strenuous tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to work in other capacities in the shop as needed
