About the Role:

Anderson Powersports is seeking a Lot Porter/Detailer to join our team! This position is essential in ensuring that our vehicles and dealership grounds are clean, organized, and ready for customers. The Lot Porter plays a key role in creating a great first impression and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all vehicles, ensuring they are washed and detailed.
• Prepare vehicles for delivery by checking for any damage, cleanliness, and drivability.
• Keep the dealership lot and showroom organized and presentable.
• Report any mechanical issues to the Service Manager immediately.
• Drive vehicles safely and responsibly within the dealership premises and between locations.
• Follow all dealership safety protocols, including wearing seat belts and adhering to speed limits.
• Work efficiently to prevent comebacks and ensure vehicles are spotless for customers.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

• 3 years of licensed driving experience with a clean driving record (preferred).
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Previous car detailing or vehicle washing experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be safety-conscious and act responsibly at all times.
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Outdoor work environment, exposed to various weather conditions.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color recognition, and depth perception.
• Some travel may be required to transport vehicles between dealership locations.
