Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, demonstrating exceptional mechanical knowledge and customer service skills. As a Master Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and resolving complex automotive issues while ensuring high-quality service delivery to our customers.
Duties
- Maintain company directed productivity, training development plan, and comeback performance levels.
- Perform job duties of all lower job descriptions(Technician B, Mechanic, General Service Technician).
- Maintain an organized and neat shop.
- Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
- Document all work, performed and recommended on the repair order.
- Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
- Road test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician.
- Supervises work of any apprentice technicians as assigned.
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Keep shop area neat and clean.
- Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools and events.
- Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair.
- Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Anderson Auto and Truck and factory standards.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of related experience in the automotive service environment.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work days. No nights, weekends, or holidays required.
- 2-4 years related experience and /or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work alone, motivate and manage one's own time.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
- Physical ability to use computer hardware/software.
- Maintain stall in an orderly and clean manner.
- Ensure that customer's vehicles are kept clean.
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
- Fast learner.
- Excellent customer service skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
