Our Partner is currently hiring an experienced Flexographic Press Operator.
Key Job Responsibilities
This position is responsible for the operation of a flexographic printing press. The operator will posses a combination of knowledge, skill, and abilities to carry out work activities related to the operation of the flexographic printing press. Specific duties include :
Set up, adjust, maintain and operate a Mark Andy 16" - 20" flexographic press
Install Anilox rollers, plates. Inks and dies into proper stations, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality of production
Notify supervision of needed repairs and replacement parts
Deliver finished material to MFG areas as required
Ensure that assigned equipment is properly maintained and in safe operating condition
Understands all documents related to the printing process, and adhere to specification requirements
Qualifications
Minimum - high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills
Must have AT LEAST 1-3 years
FLEXO PRINTING
related experience with ability to write and read simple instructions
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Must be able to meet and / or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience
Should be able to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
Must be able to maintain good attendance and be willing to work overtime, as needed
Must be flexible in working any shift
Shifts
3rd - 11 : 00pm to 7 : 30am
