This is a full-time position : Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6am to 6pm (4 days one week and 3 days the next).
Responsibilities :
- Load, unload, ship, and receive warehouse items efficiently.
- Transport materials throughout the facility, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
- Optimize load configurations to improve operational efficiency.
- Secure loads to forklifts and other equipment before transport.
- Inspect inventory for damages or defects to maintain quality standards.
- Schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Utilize RF scanners and tablets to manage inventory.
- Operate a state-of-the-art Warehouse Management System (WMS) for inventory control.
- Pick, wrap, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Actively participate in safety meetings and maintain a strong safety record.
