Pay (Hourly)
- Wage Rate: $22.87 - $33.56
- Health Insurance: $9.83
- Pension: $6.18
- Total Hourly Wage: $38.88 - $48.52
Job Summary
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Performing a wide range of tasks at various job sites including residential, commercial, road sites. Many of the duties performed are physically strenuous other jobs require little skill and can be learned quickly. The job duties of a Concrete Finisher/Laborer may vary, even day-to-day at the same site or at various job sites.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparing a job site.
- Prepare and set concrete forms to desired dimensions and specifications.
- Spread, level, and smooth concrete using hand tools, power tools, or equipment.
- Using different tools and machines necessary at job site.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
Requirements
- Must be able to work overtime hours
- Must be capable of lifting and operating a jack hammer and may operate crack fill hand tools, hoses and routers.
- Must be available for work every weekday and on Saturday.
- Must be punctual and at work as scheduled.
- Must be willing and able to wear required PPE.
Minimum Education and Experience
- High school diploma preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
- Must be able to bend over to pick up items or shovel.
- Must be able to work in high heat and at times dusty environments.
- Must be able to bend over and stoop.
- Must be able to lift above shoulders.
- Must be able to push and pull objects such as shovels, boards, and lutes.
