\Job Summary
\We offer a flexible 8-hour workday with generous time between on-call responsibilities. As a Nurse at Anderson Center for Autism, you will play an instrumental role in providing nursing care, treatment, and support to students and residents with autism at every age and stage of life.
\Responsibilities
\- Investigate and follow up on changes in patient conditions in a timely manner.
- Document findings clearly and disseminate information to relevant team members.
- Notify physicians of significant changes in patient condition.
- Share information obtained at meetings with relevant staff.
- Accurately identify and treat medication-related issues.
- Communicate effectively with families and staff regarding medical issues and medication changes.
Requirements
\- A current NYS license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Experience working with the Autistic/Developmentally Disabled population preferred, but not required.
- Ability to complete one week orientation and maintain training or qualifications related to Anderson Center for Autism.
