Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic, a world-renowned orthopaedic practice serving the Northern Virginia community, is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate, patient-centered joint replacement clinical team. You'll work alongside a dynamic group of seven surgeons, four physician assistants, and fellow nursing professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Position Summary:
This role is an integral part of our outpatient clinical operations, supporting physicians in delivering exceptional orthopaedic care. Orthopaedic experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right candidate who brings a strong clinical foundation and a passion for patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during patient evaluations and minor in-office procedures
- Act as the first point of contact for clinical patient questions and triage
- Provide pre-operative education and post-operative counseling to patients and families
- Collaborate with the care team to coordinate follow-up care and treatment plans
- Provide cross-coverage and support for fellow nurses as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system
Position Details:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday (no evenings or weekends)
- Outpatient clinical setting (non-hospital based)

Requirements
- Current and unrestricted LPN license issued by the Virginia Board of Nursing
