Laborer, Turn Crew

Anderson Communities is seeking a handyman for our Turn Crew. This position is responsible for preparing rental units for pending occupancy in a timely manner and ensuring resident has a great first impression of their new home. Duties include:

• Maintain checklist of items to be evaluated
• Repair and/or replace items such as ceiling fans, blinds, faucets, etc.
• Assist with appliance repair, fix clogged sinks and tubs, etc.
• Starting pay $16.50-17.25 per hour, depending on experience

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Working knowledge of basic tools and procedures for fixing residential issues
• Previous experience with carpentry, basic plumbing and minor electrical preferred
• Must have good communication and time management skills
• Must be clean and neat in appearance
• Must be drug free and felony free
• Must have reliable transportation as work sites may vary in and around Lexington
