As a Leasing Consultant, you’ll use your sales and marketing expertise to build meaningful relationships with prospective residents and introduce them to our award-winning communities. You’ll help people find a place to call home and make a tangible difference in their lives.
Essential Functions:
- Drive property occupancy by generating leads and networking within the community.
- Manage the full leasing cycle, from initial contact to move-in day.
- Greet prospective residents, assess their needs, and match them to the right homes.
- Schedule and lead property tours for prospective residents.
- Process lease agreements and conduct move-in inspections.
- Foster resident retention by hosting events and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Stay informed about community offerings, including amenities, vacancies, and lease details.
- Collaborate with the Property Manager to set and achieve leasing goals.
- Ensure the leasing office and models are always welcoming and presentable.
- Assist the Property Manager with any property management and resident leasing needs, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and optimal community satisfaction.
- Maintain strong communication with Property Manager, Maintenance staff, and team members.
- Adhere to Fair Housing laws and maintain professional standards.
Requirements:
- Proven sales success in any industry.
- Outstanding customer service experience.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work alternate weekends.
- Reliable personal transportation, as public transit does not meet the requirements for this role.
- Professional appearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with property management software is a plus.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Drug-free and felony-free status with a valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
Work Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday: 9 AM - 6 PM
- Friday: 9 AM - 5 PM
- Saturday: 10 AM - 3 PM (rotating shifts; one weekday off)
- Sunday: 1 PM - 4 PM (Spring/Summer only, on rotation)
Total workweek: 40 hours.
