What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cheerleading Coach position at Anderson County High School?
The successful candidate will lead the selection and direction of the Anderson County High School cheer squad. The squad cheers at sporting events. The coach accompanies the squad to activities and engages the squad in practices.
The cheerleading coach is expected to coach through 2 sport seasons (football & basketball) as well as direct all summer activities, camps and tryouts. Some level of activities occurs throughout the school year, with heavy emphasis during the athletic season.
This position receives a coaching supplement.
Experience in coaching required. Certified staff a plus. Knowledge and/or experience with cheerleading and/or gymnastics a plus.
