- Ability to meet and deal with the public effectively; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and/or frequent interruptions..
- Ability to be on-call 24/7 to work unscheduled hours, in case needed by County Administrator.
- Must have the ability to work on own after responsibilities are assigned.
- Ability to follow guidelines, whether general in nature or incomplete, requiring interpretation to fit specific cases or situations.
- Valid Driver's License or ability to obtain one within 90 days
Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalency
- 1 to 3 years' experience
- Law Enforcement Background preferred
