Right of Way Technician

POSITION: RIGHT OF WAY TECHNICIAN
DEPARTMENT: WASTE WATER
Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of rights-of-way cleaning, clearing, inspections, and maintenance on all County Waste Water Rights-of-Ways
Required Licenses or Certifications
A valid SC Driver’s license and CDL certification with Tanker Endorsement, or ability to obtain one.
Ability to obtain Wastewater Certifications.
Competencies for Successful Performance of Job Duties
Considerable knowledge of sewer equipment, facilities, materials, methods, and procedures used in maintenance and repair activities.
Skill in the operation of some of the listed tools and equipment.
Ability to perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods of time; ability to work safely; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments, and the public; ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
