TITLE : Financial Coordinator
REPORTS TO : Chief Financial Officer
JOB SUMMARY : Performs accounting and clerical functions to support the Finance Department of the District.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Prepare Monthly Bank Reconciliations
2. Prepare Purchase Requisitions / Orders and Track to Completion
3. Post Revenues from Federal, State, and Local Sources
4. Prepare Reports to Analyze Financial Data
5. Prepare Journal Entries / Budget Adjustments as Needed
6. Provide Financial Federal and State Grant Management Support
7. Provides Accounting and Software Support for Bookkeepers
8. Provides Online Payment Support for Schools
9. Monitors Bank Accounts
10. Provides Schools and Department Heads Monthly Budget Reports
11. Maintain Account Ledgers
12. Provide Payroll Support
13. Provide Food Service Support
14. Maintains Petty Cash
15. Assists Chief Financial Officer with Monthly Financial Statements
16. Assists Chief Financial Officer with Budget Preparation
17. Assists Chief Financial Officer with Maintaining Fixed Asset Records
18. Assists Chief Financial Officer with Procurement
19. Performs Other Duties as Assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or an Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience that Provides the Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities. Post-Graduate Degree Preferred
2. Knowledge of Basic Accounting Procedures and Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
3. Governmental Accounting Experience Preferred
4. Strong Attention to Detail
5. Strong Ability to Learn and Implement Software Programs and System Processes
Additional Information
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : 240 Days. Salary to be determined by the salary schedule established by the Anderson School District Three Board of Trustees.
EVALUATION : Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the provisions of the board's policy on Evaluation of Noncertified Personnel
ANTICIPATED START DATE : 7-1-2025
