Vice President of Fiduciary Services– ANDERSON, DORN & RADER, LTD.
We are Anderson, Dorn & Rader, Ltd. (“AD&R”), the premier estate planning law firm in Northern Nevada providing estate planning and trust and estate administration services. We are looking to fill the role of Vice-President of Fiduciary Services within our firm. This position has primary administrative responsibility for settling and administering trusts and estates by providing a full range of settlement-related administrative activities and by serving as primary contact with beneficiaries, attorneys, and other professional advisors.

What You’ll Be Doing
· Responsible for the administration of various types of revocable and irrevocable trusts, including charitable trusts
· Manage onboarding process for new client relationships
· Responsible for the administration of agency relationships such as investment advisory and custody accounts
· Develop strong relationships with clients and their families, providing excellent client service, administering accounts in accordance with the terms of the trust document, and building the relationship to ensure the client views AD&R and the Trust Officer as their trusted advisor
· Serve as the clients' Relationship Manager and trusted advisor by developing a close, personal relationship with the clients and their families, anticipating clients' wealth planning needs
· Administer trust accounts according to the terms of the trust and firm policy and procedure
· Administer multigenerational trusts, often with discretionary income and principal payments distributed among multiple family members while managing financial risk
· As the primary fiduciary contact, resolve client issues through collaboration with attorneys at AD&R and the trust committee
· Manage trust accounting system, including data entry and account reconciliation
· Coordinate with tax professionals to ensure timely state and federal tax reporting and payment compliance on cases
· Collaborate with the beneficiary advisors, including attorneys, accountants, and financial advisors, to ensure beneficiary needs are met while following the guidance and requirements outlined in the trust
· Review cash transfers and beneficiary distributions
· Engage with beneficiaries to schedule meetings and respond to requests
· Prepare for internal meetings with attorneys at AD&R, including reports for committee meetings and special projects
· Manage marketing proposals and materials
· Assist in servicing client accounts, including offsite client visits and related tasks
· Organize and manage prospective client files
· Manage billing and invoices for department
· Assist with business development and client management projects
· Send initial correspondence and sympathy cards to family members
· Prepare and maintain inventory of assets and render regular accountings
· Ensure proper tax compliance for all fiduciary matters
· Perform or arrange for asset valuation when appropriate
· Work to set specific deadlines and follow up diligently to see necessary tasks through
· Maintaining up to date records on all open cases
Your Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required (depending on experience)
· Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated personal trust administration experience with a bank, trust company, accounting firm, or law firm
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with individuals of all backgrounds
· Excellent organization skills and keen attention to detail
· Ability to work within a team-based setting
· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word. Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications required
· Quick learner with the ability to research, learn, and self-teach
· Able to effectively track and manage competing priorities with an ability to self-direct and prioritize work to meet internal and external deadlines

PLEASE NOTE: This is a full time, in office position during our normal business hours of 8:30 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday. This position will not have the option to work remotely. The hiring process for this position will require multiple interviews.
