Job Description Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator/Generalist with experience in benefits administration, leaves of absence, union relations, employee onboarding, and more. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing various HR functions to ensure a smooth and efficient workplace.
Major Responsibilities
- Administer employee benefits programs and respond to inquiries.
- Leaves of absence administration and tracking.
- Experience with union relations and ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
- Oversee employee onboarding processes, including orientation and I-9 compliance.
- Review time sheets to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Work with managers on employee performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Assist with various HR administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Proven experience in benefits administration and HR functions.
- Strong understanding of employee relations and union dynamics.
- Experience with employee onboarding and performance evaluation processes.
- Familiarity with DOT compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in the Bridgeville office 5 days per week (Mon-Fri).
- Salary depends on work experience and HR knowledge/certification: ($50,000 - $60,000)
