What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Clerk- UKG Pro- KRONOS position at Anderson Erickson Dairy?
This role is an important member of the Human Resource Department team. This role must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the company.
This role will assist with the weekly and monthly payroll using UKG. Processes performed include (but not limited to) the following: calculation of hourly (weekly) payroll, commission compensation (monthly), vacation accruals and payouts, manual payroll check requests, garnishments, interact with Supervisors and Department Heads in the critiquing of the weekly timecards and commission reports, participation in routine financial audits. Assist with new hire and termination payroll documentation.
Qualified candidate must have the following skills:
- Experience processing both hourly and commission based payroll.
- Experience generating reports from HRIS for analysis and communication (vacation accruals, seniority roster, etc.).
- Experience processing pension payments to the qualified plan Administrator.
- Experience processing union dues and garnishments.
- Experience generating reports from HRIS system.
- Experience in the interpretation of company policies and collective bargaining agreements.
- Experience in the interpretation of time/ attendance policies.
- Experience with required filings (FUTA, FICA, Etc.).
PRE-REQUISITES:
- High School Diploma/ GED (REQUIRED).
- Associates Degree (PREFERRED) in Accounting or a related field but will consider experience in lieu of education.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with UKG Pro HRIS/ Payroll system(s).
- Minimum of five (5) years of payroll experience.
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
