Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal/ Legal Assistant to perform key legal tasks and assist with the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a solid understanding of legal processes, including real estate closings and probate, drafting and case management. This role requires excellent communication abilities, an attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining an efficient and professional work environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule real estate closings and prepare statements of sale.
- Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and correspondence with attention to detail.
- Utilize case management software.
- Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and court dates as needed.
- Coordinate communication between clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
- Provide support staff in managing case files and documentation.
- Manage office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a real estate paralegal.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in legal drafting and familiarity with legal terminology.
- Experience with legal case management software is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent software tools.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
