What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hay Buyer position at Anderson Hay & Grain Co, Inc?
Anderson Hay & Grain in Aurora, OR is seeking a Hay Buyer to join the team. Hay buying involves purchasing tons according to the Purchase to Budget. In addition to buying, buyers are also required to manage inventory and cash on a daily bases, from purchase to true-up and final payment to grower. Inventory must be accurate and in the correct grade buckets. Buyers also work very closely with operations to get the hay to the plant and work thru issues if they arise. Also, as a company build on relationships, buyers are to maintain great relationships with all of our loyal growers. In addition, they must continue to find new growers and develop strong relationships to continue our growth.
