Anderson Health Services is launching a new mental and behavioral health program, providing 24/7 emotional support to adolescents with a history of complex trauma. We’re on the lookout for compassionate, committed professionals to join our mission of delivering high-quality, culturally sensitive care.
We’re currently hiring Lead Staff—team leaders who play a vital role in shaping a safe, supportive, and positive environment for youth.
What You’ll Do
As a Lead Staff member, you'll set the tone for a positive, emotionally safe, and engaging atmosphere. You’ll work closely with youth and your team to ensure consistency, accountability, and care, while actively contributing to treatment planning and implementation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and support daily operations and shift supervision
- Ensure adequate staffing and staff-to-youth ratios
- Respond effectively to crises and document incidents
- Guide and debrief team members during and after shifts
- Support youth in completing daily routines and participating in group activities
- Provide emotional support and teach healthy coping skills
- Collaborate with the Treatment Team to track progress and address challenges
- Promote hygiene, health, and safety standards
- Use de-escalation and relationship-building techniques
- Foster a positive, strengths-based environment where youth feel safe and empowered
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma, GED, or associate degree
- At least 2 years of experience working with youth (ages 6–17) in a relevant setting preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Possess a valid North Carolina driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong emotional regulation and communication skills
- Willingness to learn, grow, and be part of a supportive team environment
