Job Description:
We’re on the lookout for a Youth Care Worker who brings energy, heart, and dedication to our team. This isn’t just a job—it’s a calling. What You’ll Do:
- Be a mentor, coach, and advocate for youth, helping them navigate challenges and celebrate successes.
- Build a positive, high-energy culture that fosters trust, stability, and personal growth.
- Lead and participate in group activities that are both fun and meaningful.
- Guide youth in completing daily tasks and developing essential life skills.
- Provide emotional support and teach healthy coping mechanisms to handle stress.
- Work alongside the Treatment Team to design individualized care plans for each youth.
- Mediate conflicts and help youth develop problem-solving techniques for real-life situations.
- Document progress and key events to ensure everyone is aligned in their care journey.
- Use verbal de-escalation strategies to manage challenges effectively.
- Promote hygiene, health, and safety to maintain a secure and supportive environment.
- Lead with empathy, patience, and emotional intelligence, modeling positive behaviors every step of the way.
What We’re Looking For:
- A passion for working with youth and making a lasting difference.
- High school diploma, GED, or associate degree preferred.
- At least two years of experience working with children ages 6-17 is preferred.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong self-regulation and problem-solving skills.
- A growth mindset—coachable, open to feedback, and eager to learn.
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
