We’re seeking compassionate, reliable, and energetic individuals to join us as Youth Care Workers in a therapeutic environment designed to help adolescents thrive. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive space where youth can heal from trauma, build positive relationships, and learn the life skills they need to succeed in the world.
As a PRN Youth Care Worker, you’ll work one shift per week, helping to create a healthy, high-energy culture that uplifts and empowers at-risk youth ages 6–17. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that’s deeply committed to trauma-informed care and emotional support.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and guide youth in daily routines and activities
- Encourage participation in group discussions and programs
- Promote healthy coping strategies and emotional regulation
- Foster a non-punitive, emotionally safe space
- Support the development of individualized treatment plans
- Help manage conflicts through positive communication and mediation
- Ensure progress and incidents are documented and shared with the Treatment Team
- Build meaningful relationships based on trust and empathy
- Uphold health, hygiene, and safety standards
- Model consistency, patience, and positive behavior
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree a plus)
- Minimum 2 years experience working with youth (ages 6–17) preferred
- Must be 21 years old with a valid NC driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to self-regulate
- Coachable, dependable, and team-oriented
