Diagnostic Cardiology Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Cardiology Specialist to join our team at Anderson Hospital.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform 2-D, Mode and Doppler echocardiography procedures under the direction of a physician.
- Assist with Transesophageal Echocardiograms as needed.
- Conduct stress testing, including stress echo and Dobutamine echo.
- Apply and scan Holter monitors.
- Operate electrocardiogram (EKG) equipment and perform related duties.
- Prepare reports for physician review and assist with departmental objectives and performance improvement measurements.
- Insert peripheral intravenous lines as required.
- Administer imaging enhancing agents according to established protocols.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent required.
Certification/Licensure: RDCS preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in cardiology and echocardiography sonography required.
Other Requirements: Adult/Pediatric CPR certification required; registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) preferred.
