Job Summary: The ExpressCare Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordination of professional provider services for multiple ExpressCare locations. The Coordinator collaborates with ExpressCare leadership and providers to ensure the clinics are working efficiently and effectively to provide quality care for patients. The Coordinator is responsible for timely and accurate charge entry. The Coordinator must have a knowledge of insurance and medical terminology and act as a resource to answer system, billing and account questions. The Coordinator should be multifunctional and have the ability to multitask with strong time management and organizational skills.

Job Responsibilities:
- Produces monthly provider coverage schedules
- Completes and approves provider timesheets
- Collaborates with ExpressCare Medical Director and Administrative Director to complete provider performance appraisals
- Ensures productivity and actions of the clinics meet and support the overall strategies of the medical group
- Investigates patient compliant incidents in a timely manner as requested
- Works within department budgetary directives
- Submits accounts payable invoices in a timely manner
- Ensures correct billing information (including ICD-10 & CPT coding) is collected to produce and generate clean claims for submission
- Responds to billing company communication in a timely manner
- Supports the medical group compliance program and ensures that supportive documentation is maintained in an organized and easily accessible format
- Provides excellent customer service including problem solving and timely follow up
- Aids in the coordination of the credentialing process as requested
- Attends Anderson Medical Group meeting as requested
- Facilitates the timely submission of correspondence with payors, attorneys, etc. as required
Qualifications
Education Requirements and Other Requirements:
Education Level: High school diploma with some college coursework completed.
Technical Skills: Must possess strong computer skills including the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and e-mail. Must also develop proficiency with billing software to be able to evaluate accounts and promptly respond to inquiries regarding patient balances. Must have a knowledge base regarding the revenue cycle which includes demographic entry, charge/cash posting, insurance billing, refunds, reimbursement rates, bill runs, and fee schedules.
Experience Requirements: Minimum of two year related experience and/or training. Previous experience managing a medical practice preferred
Other Requirements: Strong communication, customer service and conflict resolution skills. Must have strong trouble shooting skills and problem solve in a timely manner. Must function independently with little supervision needed.
