Job Summary:
Greeting of patients, visitors, physicians and hospital staff in a positive and courteous manner. General clerical duties to include: Verify and enter orders into the computer system, schedule patients in the computer system as needed, and maintain an organized office area.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Obtains physician order on arrival of patient
2. Correctly enters all required patient information necessary for the specific procedure
3. Modifies Patient information in the computer system as needed
4. Correctly faxes and call reports as appropriate
5. Accurately prepare request for film copies
6. Appropriately disperses radiology reports
7. Does patient scheduling duties as needed
Qualifications
Education Requirements and Other Requirements:
Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
Experience Requirements: Typing skills of 50 wpm minimum with accuracy. Office experience
Preferred. People skills necessary.
Working Conditions:
Extensive sitting – Office environment
Exposure Category II: Tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues,but exposure or potential exposure may be required as a condition of employment. Appropriate protective measures should be readily available to every employee engaged in Category II tasks.
