What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sonographer - Echocardiography position at Anderson Hospital?
Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiography procedures, including 2-D, mode, and Doppler echocardiography, assist with Transesophageal Echocardiograms
- Conduct stress testing, including stress echo and Dobutamine echo
- Apply and scan holter monitors
- Perform electrocardiograms (EKG's)
- Filing, typing, order entry, charging, and documentation, scheduling, faxing, and charting
- Prepare reports for physician review
- Assist with departmental objectives and PI measurements
- Peripheral intravenous line insertion
- Preparation of and administration of image-enhancing agents
