We're looking for a skilled, dedicated and hard-working Landscape/Construction laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable, and can work well in a team setting.
The Landscape/ Construction laborer is responsible for a variety of tasks to assist with the completion of landscape construction projects.
Job duties for our landscape/construction laborers:
- Prepare sites for land and hardscape installations
- Install hard and softscape materials
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other necessary equipment to complete job tasks
- Assist in the construction of stone walls, paver walkways/patios, retaining walls, and other hardscape projects
- Plant trees, shrubs, flowers and lay sod
- Operates as part of a crew with supporting Crew Leader
- Flexibility and ability to switch gears when needed
Qualifications
- Experience in landscape construction preferred, but willing to train the right person
- Ability to perform physical labor (repeated bending, kneeling, lifting)
- Experience with construction machinery helpful, but not required
- Valid Maine driver’s license and reliable way to work
- Dependability and adherence to work schedule
- Ability to work in a fast- paced environment, while aiming to meet job deadlines.
* Pay compensation is dependent on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
