Requirements:

• At least 2 years of drain cleaning experience/jetting/sales

Summary:

The Drain Specialist is part of an elite sales team specializing in the video inspection of a sewer or drain. This highly advanced sales team of Drain Specialists work exclusively with Drain Service Technicians. As a unit they strive for the same common goal. To deliver the ultimate “WOW” experience to all our clients. Being completely committed to 100% customer satisfaction is the foundation, thus upholding our tag line “Nobody WOW’S clients like we do!”

The Role:

The primary objective of the Drain Specialist is to perform camera inspections on all sewer and drains, while keeping in mind, we as service professionals in this industry are the protectors of the environment, public health, safety, property and the welfare of our clients.

With regard to the “What” and “Why” stated above. Drain Specialists before addressing the initial situation, will set up the “infallibility of the camera” statement. As they explore the entire drain system or sewer main line with their client they will raise and then clear objections. A Drain Specialist will sell on the NEED and NEED alone. As it relates, a “properly constructed sewer main does not back up”.

Drain Specialists will provide multiple options for sewer replacement, repair, hydro jetting and or pipe lining. They will present to their client using all the provided pricing materials, presentation guide and tablet.

During which, building up the expertise of the install team is crucial. Our clients need to know how great and professional they are. They need to know the install team specializes in this specific type of work, and they are second to none. That our ultimate goal is 100% complete satisfaction. In short, establish credibility for them as the Drain Service Technician did for you. Be involved with the installation every step of the way.

Once approval has been given to perform the work by way of signature. The Drain Specialist will then schedule the work with the Lead Coordinator and provide all the appropriate information, price, scope of work, time frame etcetera. Without question, sewer sales is one of the most difficult jobs in this company and one of the toughest sales to make. Practice the Nexstar sewer sales process with coworkers and team members constantly. Track closing % and average sale. Track unsold work for follow up. Tracking helps show improvement or areas to improve in. How does one know where they are going if they don’t know where they have been? Be a leader and a role model. Exemplify the characteristics of a professional and drain expert. Be the one who lives and dies by our tagline, and the rest will follow.
