Job Title: Maintenance Custodial Assistant, Part-time
Description/Responsibilities:
Do you enjoy cleaning, organizing, and keeping things neat? Are you a team player that works well with others to ensure a job well done? If so, you may be a great addition to our Maintenance Department! The Anderson Public Library is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Custodial Assistant to join our organization! As the Maintenance Custodial Assistant, you will perform comprehensive custodial and cleaning services for the library. These duties include vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and supply restrooms, removing trash, dusting and cleaning furniture and shelves, glass and window cleaning, and cleaning kitchen facilities. You will also set up and break down meeting room furniture for inhouse programming. Your assistance in snow/ice removal and other outdoor maintenance duties may be requested as needed. Qualifications:
Facility cleaning and custodial work experience, including carpet and floor care and light maintenance work experience preferred
Compensation: $13.28 - $14.95 per hour
Schedule: 20 hours per week
Wednesday – Thursday 3:30pm – 8:30pm
Friday: 3:00pm – 8:00pm
Saturday: 1:00pm – 6:00pm
