IT Recruiter – State of FLA Recruiting Experience.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your extensive experience in IT recruitment to drive our team's success. You will utilize innovative sourcing techniques, engage with potential candidates, and develop strong relationships with clients and candidates alike. Your efforts will contribute significantly to the growth and success of our projects, ensuring that we attract and retain top talent within the industry. This position is remote, but you must live in Tallahassee, FLA for access and networking purposes of clients and potential candidates.
Responsibilities
- * Develop and implement sourcing and recruiting strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates for current job requirements.
- * Evaluate applicants and resumes/profiles in online databases by comparing qualifications to job requirements, contacting potential and active applicants, and conducting initial screening interviews.
- * Create proactive sourcing strategies targeting passive talent.
- * Post job advertisements on online job sites, job databases, and social media platforms such as Clearance Jobs, Dice, CareerBuilder, and LinkedIn to find and attract qualified applicants.
- * Utilize employee relationships, connections, and networks with external talent to enhance effectiveness.
- * Manage relationships and maintain communication with candidates and team members proactively.
- * Follow up with candidates to sustain interest in positions.
- * Build candidate pipelines for specific skill sets/job categories.
- * Oversee the offer and onboarding process.
- * Provide regular reports on recruitment efforts and successes.
- * Assist in the ongoing care and management of existing candidates placed on assignment.
- Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 - 5 years of IT technical recruiting experience(with some experience placing talent with the State of Florida).
- Ability to multi-task, handle multiple recruiting assignments, and manage multiple and competing priorities
- Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain the highest standard of professionalism
