Job DescriptionRegistered Dietitian NutritionistJob Type: Part-timeCredentials: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN)Specialty Area: Eating Disorders, Disordered Eating, History of Diet Cycling, and other related health conditionsLocation: Downingtown, PASeeking a Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition counseling to adolescents and/or adults in an outpatient, private practice setting. This dietitian must be highly organized and able to work both independently and as a collaborative member of the team. Must have knowledge in motivational interviewing, enjoy working with clients, and have a passion for nutrition. Must be outgoing and have the confidence to network with others.We are looking for an RDN with a solid knowledge base in Eating Disorders as well as excellent counseling skills, and an outgoing and dynamic personality who can successfully partner with our clients and the community.We are currently seeking a specialist with experience in the following areas:- Eating Disorders- Disordered Eating- History of Diet Cycling- Other related health conditions.90% of the position is to provide nutrition education, nutrition counseling, and coaching to clients via telehealth and in person at our Downingtown location. 10% of the position is working events and conducting outreach to the community.Position Responsibilities:Perform nutritional assessments and ongoing medical nutrition therapy/counseling for clients with active eating disorders in individual sessionsBe familiar with various evidence-based treatment options, and be able to make appropriate referrals as neededStay on top of relevant research and best practicesCollaborate with an outpatient team of providers (doctors, therapists, etc.)Perform various administrative duties (chart notes, client & provider communication, etc.) - basic computer skills requiredAttend networking events, call offices to establish referrals, and design marketing materialsPublic speaking to groups about our services and missionWork with marketing team to develop social media posts and write blogsAnderson’s Nutrition, LLC is a thriving private practice of Registered Dietitians that aims to provide exceptional nutrition counseling and evidence-based nutritional services to clients of all ages. Our philosophy is to provide education, support, and accountability for our clients to achieve long-lasting results.Minimum qualifications:- Minimum of 2 years as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)- Experience working with clients of all ages who have eating disorders, disordered eating, history of diet cycling, and other related health conditions- Strong knowledge of counseling techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive behavior therapyPreferred:- Flexibility with scheduling- Basic computer skills- Highly-organized- Can work independently
