TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 183 days; salary based on district salary scheduleEVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Noncertified Personnel.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
1. Recognizes the components of a reimbursable meal.2. Assists in the preparation and serving of food.3. Adjusts recipes to the quantity required as well as adheres to recipes as provided.4. Maintains food safety by adhering to DHEC and District sanitation guidelines at all times.5. Maintains work area, equipment, floors and dining facilities in a clean and presentable manner.6. Has knowledge of equipment operations and appropriate chemicals used in cleaning andsanitizing; safely operates kitchen equipment.7. Ensures proper storage of both hot and cold foods to minimize the risk of food borne illness.8. Has the ability to physically perform the job responsibilities.9. Meets state and local health requirements for food handlers.10. Performs all other duties as assigned.
