Unarmed Security Officer - Tempe AZ
Schedule: Friday & Monday (5:30am-3:30 pm) Saturday & Sunday (6am-2pm) 32 hours per week
Compensation: $20.50 per Hour

Job Summary:
We need an Unarmed Security Officer to protect a CRITICAL facility in Tempe, AZ. The Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding the facility's property, personnel, and equipment by conducting access control and monitoring camera systems.
As a Security Officer, you will support site safety initiatives and ensure that safety equipment remains in excellent working order. As a result, you'll be able to help create a safe and rewarding environment for all.
Anderson will provide you with uniforms, and all equipment to perform the functions of this role.
Essential Functions:
- Create a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and vendors.
- Communicate appropriately with supervisors, peers, client associates, and the general public professionally.
- Ensure that the security team meets organizational goals for productivity, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Display intermediate/advanced computer skills to utilize the proprietary software on-site.
- Conduct thorough foot patrols around the premises to observe anything out of the ordinary.
- Provide exceptional customer service while displaying a positive attitude.
- Create and maintain a thorough understanding of standard operating procedures, site-specific post orders and duties, and client safety programs.
- Make ethical judgment decisions while carrying out your responsibilities according to company and client policies.
- Demonstrate keen attention to detail in all aspects of the job to ensure safety and security for all on-site.
- Handle sensitive information and material, in doing so, remain confidential at all times.
- Demonstrate the highest levels of integrity in the performance of your duties.
- Maintain a flexible schedule and ability to work overtime if and when required or in the event of an emergency.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age, per state standards.
- VALID AZ Unarmed Guard Card
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certified. (We provide these for FREE!)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States legally.
- Submit a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Possess the minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent education.
- If military experience must be able to provide a copy of DD-214, Form 4.
