Schedule : Various - Must have open availability.

Required :

Have a valid Unarmed Security Guard License in Arizona.
Willing to become an Armed Guard.
College credits or secondary education credits required.

Compensation : $23.75 / hour (increases to $24.75 / hour after successful completion of 90 days of employment)

Location : North Scottsdale, AZ

Job Summary :

This is the premier gated community in North Scottsdale. We are looking for candidates that are seeking a challenging and rewarding environment in the security field. We are looking for candidates that are Self-Motivated, Customer Service Oriented, Effective Communicators, professional appearance and attitude, and have flexible availability. Our Security Officer employees are tasked with access control and monitoring cameras.

Rover Duties and Skills :

Controls Access to the community, screens visitors, assists visitors and employees to gain entrance into the community in an efficient manner to expedite entrance into the facility.

Monitors remote areas using closed-circuit television, and operates remote access devices.

Monitors entrance and exit points, operates gates and examines vehicle contents.

Provides a level of confidence in which residents, employees, and visitors feel that their needs are being provided for in a courteous and professional manner.

Communicates in a professional manner.

Traffic and Parking enforcement

Dispatching duties for emergencies and calls for service

Community Patrol

Emergency Response

Alarm Response

Domestic and Wild animal response

Investigation, including Criminal and Accident

Identification of safety hazards

Maintain a flexible schedule and ability to work overtime if required, or in the event of an emergency.

Minimum Requirements :

Have a valid Unarmed Security Guard License in Arizona.

Willing to become an Armed Guard.

College credits or secondary education credits required.

Military, law enforcement, corrections, OR at least one year of security experience.

Willing to capture and relocate wildlife and domestic animals. (Training provided)

Willing to become CPR, AED and First Aid / EMR and respond to medical emergencies.

Willing to capture and relocate wildlife and domestic animals.

Willing to become Lidar certified and conduct traffic enforcement and issue violations.

Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Must be 21 years or older for insurance purposes.

Must be authorized to legally work in the United States.

Submit to a comprehensive background check.

Submit to drug screening 2X per year.

Possess excellent telephone etiquette.

Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form.

Must be able to type 25 WPM.

Must be competent using computers

Preferred Qualifications / Experience :

Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice

Military

Fire Service

Security with emphasis on access control, patrol / traffic control

Medical, First Responder or EMT

High-level customer service and interpersonal skills (Sales, Hospitality, etc.)
