Anderson Striping & Construction, Inc. provides pavement maintenance solutions for commercial, industrial and government clients in CA, NV, OR, WA, UT & AZ. Headquartered in Kingsburg, CA our paving, seal coating, and striping crews work all over the San Joaquin Valley and beyond. We are looking to add a dynamic and motivated person to grow our paving division.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for completing asphalt projects on time and safely including proper operation of equipment (paving machine, skip loaders, rollers, skidsteers, etc) and ensuring a quality finish per the project specifications and plans.
- Observe, record and report daily activities in field notes logs.
- Communication point between the client contact and construction operations team.
- Coordinate with material suppliers on scheduling, quality and completion of work.
- Review works orders, proposals and contracts to ensure project scope is defined.
- Review, create and coordinate the completion of punch list items.
- Consult with engineers, clients, inspectors and Superintendent to resolve unforeseen issues.
- Ensures work complies with all technical, and quality guidelines
- Quality Control from start to finish
- Ability to comprehend, analyze and execute blueprints.
- Request and review change orders when required with the clients and superintendent
- Conduct daily and weekly Safety meetings with paving crew, and weekly/quarterly meetings with operations leadership.
- Inspect completed work, ensure proper measurements
- Lead the crew in company procedures
Skills & Background:
Minimum of 5 years paving experience REQUIRED
Ability to lead as well as work as part of a team. Experience or education in leadership, teamwork and construction management preferred.
Ability to motivate yourself and find the next step, the next “solution”, with a sense of urgency and ownership

Pay: $35-50 per Hour depending on experience

Schedule:
- 8 Hour shift, plus overtime when necessary
