Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload packages and products, ensuring items are secure during transit.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any necessary documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during the delivery process.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and local roadways.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 25 pounds) regularly throughout the day.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
