What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronic Log Auditor position at Anderson Trucking Service?
Summary
The Log Auditor will ensure driver compliance by auditing logs, training drivers on hours-of-service compliance, and providing exceptional customer service. They will identify and troubleshoot issues with Driver tablets and meet department objectives while following DOT regulations.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma required and 2-4 years of experience i n a customer-driven environment preferred.
- Experience in the transportation industry is preferred but not required .
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations is preferred but not required .
- Experience in developing strong relationships (personal / practical needs) to effectively manage, plan, and prioritize workload .
- The ability to learn and become proficient in Omnitracs , SOTI , and the other web applications used in performing the responsibilities of this position .
- Strong understanding of how to use Android-based tablets / phones.
- Must be proficient in responding to internal customer situations and needs as required .
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills; able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Able to gather and analyze information and develop alternative solutions.
- Must be able to demonstrate a proactive commitment to ATS corporate values and the success of all staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required .
- Excellent communication skills (written, listening , and verbal).
