Summary
Responsible for coordinating all load assignments. Provide continuous improvement in the productivity of ATS assets and to ensure that safe, efficient, and valuable transportation is provided to all ATS customers. Acts as the main communicator between the CSR and Fleet Manager.
Education and Experience
- High School education plus two years post high school education and at least three years related experience in van operations.
- Must be self-motivated, able to multi-task and work independently.
- Must be a team player, amenable to a variety of work projects.
- Must be analytical with the ability to apply data.
- Must be proficient in responding to internal and external customer situations, responding to customer needs as required.
- Must be able to both think creatively and provide creative contributions to projects.
- Must be able to demonstrate a proactive commitment to ATS corporate values and the success of all staff.
- Meets all company and department objectives and deadlines.
- Follows all company and department policies and procedures.
- Works within budget that is set for the department.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.
- Excellent communication skills (written, listening and verbal).
- Willing and able to travel occasionally, including overnight travel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assigns all trucks in area to freight which enable fleet managers to dispatch loads
Utilizes new or diversified business opportunities to move excess freight
Dollars per day per truck
Assists CSR in establishing proper appointments
