Designer - Marketing and Communication

Anderson University’s department of Marketing and Communication invites applications for a 12-month, full-time position as Designer. The Designer produces visually engaging content, often on tight deadlines, integrating words, photographs, infographics, illustrations, video, and other content in a clear, compelling way. This position will provide design thinking and innovation services through proposal creation, project tracking, and client management for each project assigned. The Designer will be working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, consulting internal and external teams to define project scope and details and meticulously proof all work, including high-profile initiatives, to develop and maintain the university brand guidelines. Additionally, this position will support the digital printing press process, utilize project and data asset management software, and incorporate client feedback, concept and research skills to create a diverse range of design styles for current and future projects that aligns with university goals and project objectives.

Knowledge equivalent to that gained through a bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related area of study, is preferred. 3-5 years of related design experience, including design or project management software like Adobe Creative Suite or Monday.com is required. Superb communication skills with the ability to manage deadlines, prioritize workload, and make adjustments as needed to meet business needs is essential.
