Anderson University’s Center College of Business invites applications for a full-time position as Director of Experiential Education. The Director for Experiential Education will provide key leadership in developing and managing professional opportunities for students in the College of Business. The Director will work to cultivate and sustain external relationships with industry supervisors and human resources teams to increase the exposure of Anderson University’s College of Business as a top choice for Spring, Summer, and Fall internship and co-op programs. This position will maintain effective communication with students throughout the duration of their internship or co-op residency and provide required documentation and year end reports to the University Registrar, Financial Aid, and other university offices. The Director of Experiential Education will collaborate with the COB Corporate Event Coordinator on events throughout the year including, but not limited to, fall and spring networking events, meet and greets for incoming/transfer students, and the Fall Internship Recognition Luncheon. Additional assistance with Basecamp, scholarship competitions, or other COB events or presentations, as needed.
Knowledge equivalent to that gained through a bachelor’s degree combined with one to two years of previous work experience in education or related field is required. Previous experience working in a college or university setting is preferred. Microsft Office proficiency, excellent communication, proven presentation and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on customer service, and the ability to balance several projects simultaneously while maintaining a keen attention to detail is essential.
