What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registration and Records Assistant position at Anderson University?
The primary responsibilities of the registration & records assistant are registration of new and returning undergraduate and graduate students for classes and overseeing maintenance of academic records. Additional duties include but are not limited to: verifying and adjusting student account charges, monitoring and adjusting student status, process withdrawals, grade changes, and incomplete contracts, create independent study and study abroad courses, testing of SIS system upgrades, processing transcript requests and assisting with Graduation/Commencement activities.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma, prefer 2 years of post-secondary education, or at least 3 years of higher education work experience. Must be self-motivated, have ability to multi-task and work with frequent interruptions; excellent oral and written communications skills including proofreading and editing skills; ability to take initiative to complete assigned tasks independently. Must be able to effectively communicate with people of diverse backgrounds. Must demonstrate competency with Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) and general computer skills.
