Anderson University is accepting applications to join our dynamic and growing Engineering Department. We invite candidates for a tenure-track Engineering faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, commencing in Fall 2025. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical, Mechatronics, and/or Civil Engineering.
Anderson University is home to ABET accredited engineering programs including: Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering. The university recently launched a new Civil Engineering degree and has a Humanitarian Engineering program.
Primary duties for the position include teaching undergraduate engineering courses using current tools of the industry, connecting students with industry professionals, mentoring students, generating scholarship, service to the community, and participating in departmental and university committees.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Engineering or a related field. A Masters degree paired with a PE and sufficient experience will be considered. Candidates in the areas of Mechanical, Mechatronics, and/or Civil Engineering will be considered. Rank and tenure status will be determined based on the credentials of the selected candidate.
Candidates should have belief in and commitment to Jesus Christ and the Christian faith as interpreted through the historic witness of the Bible and the contemporary ministry of the Holy Spirit. They should possess a vitality of Christian experience that is maturing in insight and application. Candidates must meet University lifestyle expectations.
