SUMMARY
Provide technical support as help desk responder and maintain help desk records Maintain documentation on IT activities and procedures. Investigate, diagnose, and resolve network hardware and software problems. Installs PCs based on predefined specifications. Repair PC hardware.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned
- Upholds Andis Core Values in all work-related activities.
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve desktop, network, server and software trouble tickets.
- Understands and supports the operation of all company servers, network, and telecommunications systems.
- Monitor server, network and telecommunications logs daily.
- Periodically test backup systems for accuracy and perform restore operations when requested.
- Configure and support desktop deployment including Intune and other automated management tools.
- Support Meraki, ESXi, EMC and Cisco infrastructure components.
- Support Windows Server.
- Support for Microsoft Office 365, Sharepoint, Azure and other cloud hosted platforms.
- Oversee the application of software patches through inTune and Microsoft Endpoint.
Help Desk Support
- Provide help desk contact, support, and follow-through daily.
- Accurately maintain service requests using help desk software.
Other Duties
- Maintain documentation for IT related activities.
- Work with outside managed service providers to complete projects and tasks.
- Flexibility to come in on weekends and evenings as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree in a related field preferred; or equivalent 3-to-5-year experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
