It is the primary responsibility of the Tradeshow & Event Operations Manager to coordinate and execute operational services for both ANDMORE owned and produced events (market events) and outside, third party produced events (non-market events). All duties, from the initial sites through the event, departure and post event, are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices and procedures.

What You’ll Do
It is the primary responsibility of the Tradeshow & Event Operations Manager to coordinate and execute operational services for both ANDMORE owned and produced events (market events) and outside, third party produced events (non-market events). All duties, from the initial sites through the event, departure and post event, are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices and procedures.
Position Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing and administering all operational activities pertaining to trade shows and events at the World Market Center Las Vegas and The Expo @ World Market Center Las Vegas.
- In collaboration with other departments and vendors, produce all event orders; event resumes; manage floor plans; establish and manage move-in, set-up, and operation, dismantle, and move-out of all assigned events; all while providing best in class customer service.
- Planning and execution of conferences, meetings, and F&B functions, including room set-up, audio-visual, staging, food service and catering options; scheduling, staffing and management of labor; management of event inventory, including props, furnishings and décor.
- Manage relationships with those vendors necessary to produce all trade shows and events, including RFP / contract bid processes and negotiations, order processing, and invoice reconciliation and payment.
- Provide support to Director – Trade Show & Event Operations, the event operations team, and other internal departments as needed.
- Work closely with leasing, internal customers, and external customers to understand the event requirements. Provide direction, as needed, to ensure requirements are achievable and/or offer alternate solutions.
- Undergraduate Degree in Business Management, Event Planning, Hospitality Management, Logistics or related field preferred.
- Must have five (5) years or more of experience leading a team producing trade shows, meetings, or other similar large-scale events.
- Food service operations experience is preferred.
- Expertise in event booking and planning software, such as TripleSeat or Reserve; expertise in CAD/room set software, such as Social Tables or Meetings Matrix is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office is required.
- Proficient budgeting and scheduling skills required.
- Position is based in Las Vegas, but candidate must be willing to travel up to 25% in support of ANDMORE events in High Point (NC), Atlanta (GA), New York (NY) and elsewhere as necessary.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high stress environment; maintain physical stamina and positive attitude while working under pressure; self starter, handle multiple events at one time, detail-oriented.
- Excellent customer services skills is required.
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.

- Much of the work to be performed will require the ability to work on-site. Limited flexibility for remote work does exist, at Managers discretion, when there are no active markets or events.
