What You’ll Do
The Manager, Marketing Events & Brand Partnerships is responsible for the strategic development, planning, and execution of experiential marketing initiatives across Atlanta’s Gift & Home markets and events (approx. 12 events annually), as well as year-round designer and partnership-driven activations. This role blends high-level event strategy, production execution, sponsorship development, and brand collaboration into a dynamic leadership position focused on enhancing customer experience, driving engagement, and elevating the company’s brand presence.
Position Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and implement immersive events including food & beverage experiences, educational programming, and curated activations, as part of an integrated marketing campaign as defined by leadership.
- Lead production and onsite execution of 15 events per market, including managing venues, schedules, run-of-show documents, and cross-departmental coordination.
- Collaborate on market-wide campaigns to align event design with broader marketing and visual direction.
- Partner with Integrated Marketing Content & Community team on implementation of speakers identified through the team’s speaker procurement process.
- Spearhead the staging and atmosphere/experience of event and sponsor-driven venues (including sponsored-lounges and seminar rooms) with logistical support of Operations department
- Manage post-event analytics including attendance tracking, feedback collection, and ROI reporting.
- Identify, pitch, and secure brand partnerships and activations that align with key seasonal themes, buying categories, and audience segments.
- Develop and oversee activation plans for brand partners including product placement, customization details, sampling stations, and VIP gifting.
- Coordinate with vendors for event execution (e.g., rental companies, embroiderers, illustrators, Catering etc.)
- Maintain strong relationships with brands and vendors to encourage repeat participation and collaboration.
- Partners with leasing and sponsorship to generate leads and initiate outreach for unique partnership opportunities.
- Develop brand relationships through personal outreach and communication.
- Oversee implementation of marketing events, ensuring that headshots, descriptions, sponsors and other relevant information are accurately captured in all marketing communications including signage, collateral, creative, website, email and others
- Serve as a key marketing contact during event setup, execution, and breakdown periods.
- Lead pre-market walkthroughs with operations, Aramark, development, and advertising.
- Manage all event-related assets (logos, imagery, speaker bios, headshots, descriptions, product credits, etc.) in digital asset systems.
- Coordinate travel and logistics for talent, speakers, and VIPs.
- Ensure events are well-staffed, including oversight of temporary labor when applicable.
- Own event budget from planning through reconciliation: forecasting, optimization, and vendor negotiations.
- Draft and manage contracts for service providers, speakers, and sponsors.
- Ensure execution is on time, within scope, and aligned with brand standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Events, Communications, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in event production, brand partnerships, or experiential marketing.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-event environments with multiple stakeholder input.
- Strong understanding of home, lifestyle, and/or retail industries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills—the individual builds relationships with colleagues at all levels, prospective candidates, and third-party vendors; can work with minimal supervision in a professional, courteous manner while demonstrating diplomacy, tact, and discretion.
- Customer service orientation—the individual has a passion for meeting and exceeding the needs of internal and external customers and will be a strong team player.
- Excellent oral communication—the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, can effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, customers, and the public.
