What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Care Representative position at ANDON SPECIALTIES, INC.?
ANDON Specialties is a national leading manufacturer's representative/distributor of process automation, analytical, and fluid handling solutions. We are currently searching for a Customer Care Representative to join our TEAM in Houston, TX.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Support the generation of repeat sales by exceeding customer requirements and expectations.
- Proactively contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints.
- Achieve and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and Andon sales team.
- Reply to email and telephone requests for customer purchase order entry, order changes, drop-ship order status updates and expedite requests in a timely manner.
- Use Prophet21 (CRM) to enter, maintain, update, and communicate sales order, customer, and vendor information.
- Proactively notify customers of estimated and scheduled delivery dates and any subsequent changes and work closely with the Principal or Vendor to expedite deliveries of scheduled shipments.
- Respond to the post-sale needs of Account Leaders and customers as assigned.
- Ensure all sales orders are on time and expedite the process when needed.
HOW TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE?
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience, i.e. previous experience in Prophet21 (CRM)
- Customer service/order management experience in an industrial environment
