POSTION SUMMARY
Follow the lead/direction of the Community Sales Manager. The Client Relationship Banker is responsible and accountable for assisting in the overall efficient operation and peak performance of a banking center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regular onsite attendance

- Provides accurate, efficient and exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
- Maintains knowledge of bank regulations, security and compliance responsibilities, products, policies, procedures and meets deadlines
- Satisfactorily completes all training required for the position
Profitability – The Client Relationship Banker assists in evaluating processes and initiatives impacting the banking center’s profitability.
- Sales – Accountable for their own production and assisting the banking center sales process (coaching for referrals). Operate as the primary platform staff with a focus of growing client relationships. Must be fluent in the new account process.
- Operations – Backs up the Lead Service Representative for operations and deposit procedures, as needed.
- Reports – Be able to review, manage, and give direction from sales reports.
- Products - Consumer loan and deposit product fluency is required.
- Goals - Achieving sales targets and conducting regular sales/referral coaching.
- Fee Income – Assists in “appropriate” management of fee generation. Also makes recommendations for new fee opportunities.
- Expenses – Assists in the management of expenses. Also makes recommendations for reducing expenses.
Leadership – The Client Relationship Banker assists the manager in setting the tone, pace, and direction of the team.
- Management – As needed, will assist in the day to day supervisory responsibilities of the Client Service Representative. Ensures proper policies and procedures are followed and makes exceptions when warranted.
- Scheduling – When necessary will assist in efficient and cost conscience scheduling
- Communication – Following the direction of the Community Sales Manager, will participate in the weekly corporate and financial center staff meetings.
- Staff development – Following the direction of the Community Sales Manager, will assist with individual developmental career path plans (how to advance from one level to the next). When necessary, the CRB will assist with the disciplinary process.
Community/Business Development
- Community functions – The Client Relationship Banker is encouraged to be involved in various local community events.
- Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Lead Service Representative.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Associates degree; one year certificate from technical school; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and routine reports. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTERATIONS
Must become a licensed annuity sales agent.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Computer Skills: Ability to perform basic computer skills and operate computer programs. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
