What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst position at Andover Fire-Rescue?
Description
This position if for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who will operate as part of the district’s behavioral support team. Within each schoolhouse, BCBAs are partnered with a multidisciplinary team of mental and behavioral health staff (i.e. psychologists, social workers, RBTs) to provide wraparound support for inclusion-setting higher needs students.
Responsibilities
- Assessment :
Competency to complete FAs and FBAs, behavioral observations, creation of organized data collection systems.
Creation of Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs), systems of individual and group reinforcement, design of structured postvention for behavioral incidents
Organize and maintain student information associated with each student, including student needs tracking forms, data collection results, and collateral information.
Provide teacher and staff consultation to promote inclusion of students in the general education setting.
Provision of Grid A consultation to identified building staff
