What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fine Gardening Manager position at Andover Landscape Design and Construction?

As the Fine Gardening Manager you would lead a team of 8 horticultural professionals serving the Andover market. Our landscape design/build clients continue to partner with us post construction with our fine gardening team.
Andover Landscape Design & Construction LLC is an architect driven design/build firm that focuses on high end residential landscape projects in the Andover area. The Fine Gardening team maintains our installations on a 4-6 week schedule. Each visit consists of weeding, pruning, fertilization and any other activity required to keep the gardens happy and healthy. Additionally, the Fine Gardening team assists during the tail end of the construction project to install smaller plants, ground cover, low voltage lighting, drip irrigation, fertilizing and mulching. We believe this handoff from build to maintenance allows the Fine Gardening team to really understand the design intent and be confident in their efforts moving forward.
Responsibilities of the Fine Gardening Manager includes but not limited to…
* scheduling and overseeing crews
* maintaining strong client communication and relationships (currently 70 accounts)
* crew training in proper techniques
* quality control
* seasonal container arrangements
* plant procurement
Qualified individuals must have at least 5 years in the greens industry with at least 2 in a supervisory role.
Also must possess either a degree in horticulture (or similar) or some professional certification such as MCLP, MCA, ISA, MCH etc.
