What are the responsibilities and job description for the Memory Care position at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing?
Andover Manor Rehab and Nursing is seeking a compassionate Memory Care Coordinator to fill a full-time position in our skilled nursing facility. This is an exciting and energetic position to provide a variety of meaningful activities for our elders daily.
As the Memory Care Coordinator, you will:
- work with the Director in creating programs that are tailored to the needs and preferences of our residents
- provide hands-on involvement in activities and events
- ensure support and safeguard the dignity of those in our care
Don't forget...
- Social, recreational, activities experience of at least two years required (this experience must be within the last 5 years)
- Prior experience working with patients/elderly required.
- Degree in Recreation or previous experience as a Recreation Assistant or Director is preferred.
- A positive, outgoing, upbeat personality is a must.
- Strong organizational & planning skills; ability to multi-task.
- This is a direct hire position; we do not go through an agency.
